Davala chases Inter return

TURKISH midfielder Umit Davala has moved closer to a return to Internazionale after travelling back to Italy to discuss the move with the club.

The Turkish World Cup star is not enjoying his time in Istanbul at all and has been longing for a return to Serie A for some time.

The former Milan star wants to return to the city with Inter, and has made his feelings clear a number of times.

The 29-year-old has now taken the step of travelling to Italy to meet with Inter officials while his Turkish side went to Gaziantep for their Turkish League match.

After returning from Japan and Korea as a hero, Umit has recently been savaged by the Turkish media and it now appears he has had enough and is desperately hoping that he can move, possibly in the winter transfer window.
