INTERNAZIONALE grabbed a late equaliser in Saturday's clash with Roma to move two points clear at the top of Serie A, while Bologna profited by moving above the Roman club into sixth with a win over Perugia.

Domenico Morfeo gave the visitors hosts the lead at Stadio Olimpico with his goal after 57 minutes, only for Vincenzo Montella to level things up just two minutes later.

A tight encounter then looked like it had been settled by Argentinian striker Gabriel Batistuta as he put Roma ahead in the 72nd minute.

Hector Cuper's men where determined not to be beaten however, and kept going right until the death, when Turkish international Okan (pictured) popped up two minutes from time to earn a hard-fought point for Inter.

The Milan side are now a couple of points ahead of Juventus at the top of the table, but Juve will now have the chance to retake the lead on Sunday, when Inter may regret earning just a point at Roma.

Bologna took advantage of Roma ending with a draw by overcoming Perugia at home in a 2-1 victory to move into sixth.

Julio Cruz kept up his good form for Bologna as he put the hosts ahead after half an hour with his fifth goal in eight games.

Veteran forward Guiseppe Signori then made it 2-0 eight minutes later, before Andrea Caraccioli pulled one back for the visitors on the stroke of half time.

Bologna hung on to their lead in the second half, a task they achieved with ease, with Rahman Rezaei sent off for Perugia in the dying moments.
