INTERNAZIONALE have moved quickly to quash talk that Turkish World Cup star Emre Belezoglu will be leaving the Giuseppe Meazza in the near future.

Reports in the Italian media claimed Emre and compatriot Okan did not see eye-to-eye with Inter coach Hector Cuper and the Argentine boss was happy to dispense with the services of the duo.

However, the Milan giants have publicly backed Emre and insisted he is a big part of the club's future plans at home and abroad.

Premiership champions Arsenal have been strongly linked with the skilful midfield man but seem well covered in that department with the likes of Patrick Vieira, Edu and Gilberto Silva in the Highbury engine room.

Emre was a pivotal figure in Turkey's surge to the semi-finals of the 2002 World Cup before their defeat by eventual winners Brazil.
