Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah wants to rejoin Fiorentina on loan, according to Sky sources.

But the 23-year-old Egypt international, who thrived at the Serie A club in a six-month loan last season, would like the terms of his next loan improved if he is to move there for a second spell.

Sky Italia understand Salah wants £2.1million in wages for the year. Inter Milan are prepared to offer Salah £1.9million while he currently earns £1.6million at Chelsea.

Fiorentina have proposed to the Blues that they take Salah for a whole season for a fee of £1m, after the player scored nine goals in 26 appearances from January to May last term, and the Blues are now discussing the deal.

Chelsea signed Salah in January 2014 on a five-and-a-half-year contract from Basel, but has not found a place in Jose Mourinho's plans, making just six Premier League starts and 19 appearances overall.

Fiorentina recently appointed the former Swansea boss Paulo Sousa as their new head coach after sacking Vincenzo Montella, despite finishing fourth in Serie A.
