Genoa have completed the signing of defender Nicolas Burdisso from Roma.
The 32-year-old had previously spoken of his desire to leave the Serie A side in order to maintain his chances of making Argentina's World Cup squad.
Burdisso has made just five appearances for the Italian giants so far this season having fallen out of favour with manager Rudi Garcia.
The defender spent three-and-a-half years in Rome having signed from Inter Milan in 2009.
Genoa have also secured the signing of Juventus full-back Marco Motta on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy.
The 27-year-old will link up with team-mate Paolo De Ceglie who has also made a temporary switch to Genoa from Turin.
Meanwhile, Genoa midfielder Davide Biondini has left the club, joining Serie A rivals Sassuolo on loan.
