Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo says that he expects to stay at the club and renew his existing deal.
The Italian international, who is said to be attracting the interest of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, could put pen to paper on an improved deal before the transfer window closes.
And speaking to Radio 105, Pirlo thinks the matter could be sorted out sooner rather than later.
Pirlo said: "In the next few days we will meet with the club. I am optimistic and there is general optimism."
The Italian international joined Juventus from AC Milan in 2011.
