Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has played down speculation claiming he could be set for a move to England.
Guidolin's position has come under increasing pressure in recent months as Udinese have struggled all season.
Guidolin is one of the most respected coaches in Serie A having led Udinese to top five finishes in each of his three seasons in charge.
Now they are struggling just above the drop zone which has led to speculation about his future and that has also seen him linked with clubs in England, including Norwich City.
But he has down played down any talk of an impending move.
"This is only speculation," he said at his final news conference of 2013.
"In this moment we don't need speculation. My thoughts are only about our next match. I don't think about other things.
"For the New Year I hope to end positively the first half of the season and to start in a good way the second one.
"I hope the team will be able to get points playing in a good way."
