Juventus chief executive officer Beppe Marotta says he is confident of midfielder Arturo Vidal signing a new contract.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Serie A outfit from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011, has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, as well as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich in recent transfer windows.

Vidal has been a permanent fixture in Antonio Conte's side so far this season and despite the speculation surrounding his future, Marotta believes that a new deal with the Chilean should be agreed.

"Vidal's renewal will arrive. It's enough waiting - there aren't problems," he said. "There is only the need for patience."

Marotta also spoke of striker Fernando Llorente, hailing his summer signing as an excellent piece of business for the club.

"His arrival as a free agent has been a big opportunity we got from the market," he said.

"Conte worked with him, and Fernando applied himself, being able to become an important asset for us."
