Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo has reaffirmed his faith in manager Francesco Guidolin despite a series of poor performances.
Zebrette have won one of their last five Serie A games and were knocked out of the Europa League in August after a play-off defeat to Czech Republic side Slovan Liberec, losing 4-2 on aggregate.
However, Pozzo believes there is no cause for concern and has full confidence in Guidolin's ability to turn their side's fortunes around.
"Guidolin deserves faith. He and his staff are working in a good way despite the difficult beginning to the season," he told SportUno.
"They have our faith not because they are good people, but because they are good coaches.
"The current situation is not sparkling, but we must evaluate the fixtures and the injuries," he added.
"I'm convinced that we will recover because the team is good and have good motivations."
