Porto are confident that Jackson Martinez will stay with them despite talk of interest from Napoli.
The Colombian striker's agent had claimed that his client had agreed personal terms with the Italian club, although his 40m Euro release clause had not been met by last season's Serie A runners-up.
Napoli boss Rafa Benitez has been busy reinvesting the 64m Euro fee his club received for Edinson Cavani, bringing in Gonzalo Higuain and Raul Albiol from Real Madrid, and Dries Mertens from PSV Eindhoven.
Porto and Napoli met over the weekend in the Emirates Cup in London, but Porto manager Paulo Fonseca was adamant the 26-year-old would stay in Portugal.
"In my opinion, the Jackson Martinez subject is closed. I fully trust he will remain with us," Fonseca told Sapa Desporto.
"In fact, I avoided Rafa Benitez to prevent him from asking about Jackson."
