Chilean midfielder David Pizarro has made his intentions clear that he wants to leave Italian side Fiorentina this summer.
The 33-year-old, who previously had a brief spell at Manchester City, scored only three goals in 29 appearances for the Serie A outfit this season.
He has suggested he would like a new challenge away from Florence and has told his agent to look for opportunities elsewhere.
Pizarro's agent Alejandro Santistenban made the announcement to firenzeviola.it saying: "David wants to leave Fiorentina.
"Next year he would like to have an experience with another team. He's had an amazing season and has at least another two to three years to play at the highest level."
The move will come as a surprise to Fiorentina who had signed him on a two-year deal from Roma, just last summer.
"I'll meet with Danielle Prade and Eduardo Macia (Fiorentina Directors) in the next coming days."
(I will also speak) to David after the national team's match and then we'll decide," Santistenban added.
