Red Bull Salzburg's Martin Hinteregger has turned down a proposed move to Fiorentina, revealing his dream is to play in England or Germany one day.
The 20 year-old looked set to move to Italy, with his agent discussing the transfer with Fiorentina, but now the move has fallen through.
"I didn't feel like making so big a step," he told sport10.at.
"I am very young and I'm not ready to go abroad. I know that 99% of young players in my place would have accepted the Fiorentina offer, but I don't care."
The Austria Under-21 international went on to talk of his desire to play elsewhere in Europe, but just not yet.
"I have a contract with Salzburg until 2014, and I will stay here until I feel ready, My dream is still to play in Germany or England."
