Feyenoord have signed on-loan Parma striker Graziano Pelle on a permanent four-year deal.
The 27-year-old joined the club on a season-long loan from the Serie A side in August and has proven an inspired purchase.
The former Lecce and AZ Alkmaar forward has bagged 14 goals in as many Eredivisie appearances to help the club up to third place, just three points behind leaders PSV.
Ronald Koeman's side have moved quickly to tie Pelle down to a permanent contract, shelling out a fee Feyenoord have confirmed to be less than €3million.
The former Italy Under-21 international admits he is delighted to have made the permanent move to the De Kuip stadium.
"It's not secret I am tremendously happy here," he told the club's official website.
"I feel very much confidence here at Feyenoord. We can be satisfied with what we have showed on the pitch so far and also permanently I am very happy with my life in Rotterdam.
"It's very nice that I can be a part of this fantastic club for the next few years."
