Fiorentina defender Stefan Savic believes that a move to Serie A has helped him improve as a player.
The defender moved from Manchester City as part of the deal that saw Matija Nastasic move in the opposite direction, with his reputation having suffered after just 11 league appearances in England.
However, Savic has adapted well to life in Florence and last weekend scored both goals in the 2-2 draw with Sampdoria.
"The most important thing for me is that I can play with continuity, which I could not do in Manchester," Savic told Serbian Newspaper Sport.
"I know I have arrived at the right club because it is very ambitious and suitable for young players.
"In Italy, the football is very tactical, while in England the game is faster, high-paced with many physical duels.
"Each league offers something new. In England I learned a lot, but now I'm in Italy to learn things I did not learn in the Premier League."
Fiorentina have started the Serie A season in impressive fashion, currently sitting six points behind leaders Juventus in fourth place.
