The agent of in-demand Porto defender Alvaro Pereira claims his client does not consider the Premier League to be his preferred destination.
Reports continue to link the highly-rated Uruguay international with a summer switch to one of Europe's top divisions.
Chelsea are known to hold a long-standing interest in the 26-year-old, while Inter Milan and Napoli are said to be keen on taking him to Italy.
Pereira is flattered to be linked with such prestigious clubs and is open to the idea of taking on a new challenge.
It was believed that a move to Stamford Bridge held the greatest appeal, but his representative insists no such talks have taken place.
"Inter Milan and Napoli interest? We have not received any official proposals," Flavio Perchman told calciomercato.it.
"One day he is on his way to Naples, the next Chelsea. Obviously we are pleased that his name is being linked with big clubs, but at the moment there are no official offers.
"The player prefers the Premier League? I never said anything like that. It is not true and I have not spoken to the Portuguese press about that.
"I think that leagues like the English and Italian ones are possible destinations for Alvaro, but he has no preference. The important thing is that it is a competitive club."
