Loan deal agreed with Napoli

Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed that striker Erwin Hoffer will stay with the club after they agreed a loan deal with Napoli. The Austria international will remain at the Commerzbank-Arena for the 2012/13 season and play his second successive year with the recently promoted Bundesliga side. Hoffer's deal with Napoli expires in 2014, but the Serie A side have once again allowed him to leave on loan to find first-team football. In 2009, Hoffer made the move to Napoli from SK Rapid Vienna, but since then has only managed eight games for the Italian side. Last season Hoffer found the net on nine occasions in 30 appearances for Frankfurt as they gained promotion to the Bundesliga. Eintracht Frankfurt general manager, Bruno Hubner told Deutsche Pressagenteur: "We are delighted to have agreed terms and see him stay on."
