Udinese have no plans to part with highly-rated shot-stopper

Udinese claim to have received no approaches for Samir Handanovic and hope that will remain the case once the transfer window re-opens. The highly-rated Slovenia international is considered to be one of the most consistent goalkeepers in European football. His exploits in the Italian top flight have put him in the shop window, and there is understood to be plenty of interest. Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are believed to be among those to have cast admiring glances in the 27-year-old's direction, while Tottenham are also said to be keen. Udinese have no intention of selling, though, and have refused to speculate on how much it would take to force their hand.

Important

"There has been no contact for him," said Gino Pozzo, son of Udinese owner Giampaolo. "He won't be leaving for now because he is an important element for our project. "Obviously, we intend to respect the player's desire, but we want him to stay. "How much would he cost? He doesn't have a valuation."
