Cesena have appointed Mario Beretta as the club's new coach just a day after Serie A's bottom team parted company with Daniele Arrigoni.
The strugglers have failed to win in five games, picking up just one point during that run to slip to the foot of the standings.
That run of form prompted Cesena to relieve Arrigoni of his duties on Monday and Beretta has been confirmed as his successor.
Arrigoni had only been at the helm since November following the sacking of Marco Giampaolo and Beretta has now been charged with the task of steering Cesena out of trouble.
Beretta has been out of coaching since leaving Brescia over a year ago and takes charge of a Cesena side currently seven points adrift of safety.
