Juventus striker Amauri has admitted he would be interested in joining Palermo if the clubs came to an agreement.
Amauri has been linked with a permanent move away from Juve this summer after falling down the pecking order last season and being loaned out to Parma in January.
He impressed on loan and has reportedly attracted the attention of both Palermo and Fiorentina during the transfer window.
Amauri spent time with Palermo earlier in his career and has fond memories, but he is not paying too much attention to the transfer talk at this stage.
The 31-year-old nevertheless concedes that he would be willing to take a pay cut if Juventus decided to sell him to Palermo.
He told mediagol.it: "Fiorentina and Palermo interested in me? These voices are pleasing, but I have to talk to my agent to know what's true.
"In Palermo I was happy and I still have a great affection for the city.
"If a specific proposal comes we will talk about it and we will see.
"If I would be willing to reduce my wage? Yes, but things have to be done in threes, because I mean there is Palermo, Juventus and me.
"If Juventus asked €7million (£6.1m) for me it becomes more difficult. I would be willing to meet the needs of Palermo. "
