Pazienza now hopes to learn from new Juventus boss Antonio Conte and impress Italy manager Cesare Prandelli.
He told Juventus Channel: "I am happy to have this new challenge. I want to show that I belong at this big club."
As regards trying to force his way into the Italy squad, Pazienza added: "Prandelli has said he will choose who plays based on continuity.
"So my aim is to find a place at Juventus, then I will think about the rest."
