Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has not given up hope of the team qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League.
Monday's 1-0 win over fourth-placed Lazio moved the Old Lady to within four points of the team they are hunting down.
There are three Serie A fixtures left in the schedule and Chiellini believes they can still make up the four-point gap.
However, he accepts skill alone will not be enough maintain their upward curve as luck will also play a part.
"We still hope we'll qualify for the Champions League," said Chiellini.
"The victory over Lazio has got us kicking ourselves over the points we dropped before that.
"But now we need three wins and then we'll see. We need to be lucky and hope our rivals slip up."
