Brazilian striker set for month out
Roma striker Adriano has undergone surgery on Tuesday after suffering a shoulder dislocation during the Coppa Italia.
The 28-year-old has been forced to take time out on the advice of doctors in a bid to prevent further shoulder problems down the line.
The injury was suffered in the keenly-contested Coppa Italia derby against Lazio which saw the Serie A third placed side emerge 2-1 winners.
After a period of rehabilitation the former Parma and Inter Milan player will return to playing action in around a month's time.
