Genoa pair Luca Toni and Andrea Ranocchia have dismissed reports linking them with a move to AC Milan and Inter respectively.

Former Italy striker Toni is in the latter years of his career and has scored six goals in 12 games since joining Genoa over the summer.

Despite his age, the 33-year-old is thought to be wanted by Serie A leaders Milan to bolster their attacking options.

But Toni insisted that he was happy at his new club, and that he felt Milan will spend the January transfer window looking at other options.

"Milan is looking for a great striker in January? They will look for others players," he told Calciomercato.com.

Ranocchia has impressed for Genoa since moving in a co-ownership deal from Inter, winning his first senior cap for his country in November.

With Inter struggling in Serie A under Rafa Benitez, the Spaniard is reportedly interested in bring the giant 6ft 5 centre-halfback to the San Siro.

However Ranocchia also pledged his allegiance to stay at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, and that he was just focused on the matches ahead.

"In January I will stay at Genoa. Then I will accept what is to come in the future," he told Ansa.

"In this moment I think only to the match against Napoli, then we will dedicate ourselves to the derby against Sampdoria."
