Argentine delighted by interest shown by Old Lady

Catania striker Maxi Lopez would be 'honoured' if Juventus were to make a bid for his services. The forward has been hotly tipped for a move to Turin when the January transfer window opens despite only joining Catania earlier this year from FC Moscow. Juve sporting director Giuseppe Marotta recently rubbished reports that the club were preparing to sign the Argentine. However, the 26-year-old former Barcelona man is clearly pleased by the interest shown by the Old Lady after settling down well with life in Italy. He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "The interest of Juventus? I would be very pleased if a big club like them are interested in me, I feel honoured. "And if this does happen, then I'd like to thank my club Catania and Italy. "I hope to stay in the country that has adopted me, making me feel at home. I find many similarities between Argentina and Italy, and it's not just football."
