Juventus have all but sealed the transfer of Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci from Bari and Genoa.
Bonucci was at the Southern Italy club last season after being co-owned by both Bari and Genoa following a transfer from Inter Milan at the start of the previous campaign.
But his performances for Bari saw him rewarded with a place in Italy's World Cup squad.
A deal for the 23-year-old is understood to have been agreed with Bari following Italy's shock exit at the group stage of the tournament, before talks with Genoa to arrange a full sale to Juventus.
"We are defining the details for the acquisition of Bonucci, obviously he is a player who interests us," Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta told tuttomercatoweb.
