Fabio Cannavaro's agent claims the defender has set his sights on a return to Napoli, although there have been no negotiations as yet.
The Italy international will be out of contract at Juventus later in the summer and speculation has surfaced about his next move.
Reports have suggested that he would like to rejoin hometown club Napoli, where he started his career and where younger brother Paolo still plays.
Agent Gaetano Fedele told Sky Italia: "This is the truth and it has been told a few times.
"Many things are to be evaluated, but at the moment there aren't contacts and Fabio has only shown his intention."
Fedele admits that Cannavaro will also have to wait and see what happens with Juve, who are set to appoint a new manager at the end of the season and could look to keep the 36-year-old.
"Fabio is under contract with Juve, but we will talk at the end of the season with the officials," said Fedele.
"There will be changes and so we would have to see if plans will change."
