Bari have warned Roma that they face competition in their bid to land Andrea Masiello.
Bari's defensive unit has been one of the most impressive in Serie A this season and the versatile Masiello has shone at both right-back and centre-half.
The 24-year-old's performances have not gone unnoticed and Roma have been keeping tabs on him for some time.
But Bari sporting director Giorgio Perinetti insists there are other clubs in pursuit of Masiello.
"We are not negotiating, but we know that Masiello is being followed, and not just by Roma," Perinetti told Forzaroma.info.
"I can say that in the lottery of teams Roma are also there, but it is early to speak about deals."
Perinetti would be prepared to listen to offers but maintains that Masiello will not come cheap.
"We cannot allow Masiello to leave light-heartedly because he is part of our good defence," he explained.
"Of course, things would change in light of a good offer."
