Adriano's agent has denied saying that the player will move to Roma after this summer's World Cup.

Flamengo forward could return to Europe after the summer

Brazilian striker Adriano's agent has denied saying that the player will move to Roma after this summer's World Cup. The 28-year-old powerful forward is currently playing his football in his native Brazil for Flamengo, moving back home after having his contract at Inter Milan rescinded in April last year. He is hoping to earn a place in the Brazil squad for the World Cup in South Africa, and his agent Gilmar Ronaldi has revealed that a move back to Europe could be on the cards after the tournament. However, Ronaldi has denied saying that the player will be definitely moving to Roma. "I have never said that after the World Cup Adriano will join Roma," he told Globoesporte. "The Roman radio station that called me wanted me to say this, but I only expressed a general idea, that after the World Cup my client could come back to Europe. "Not only in Italy, but also in clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona. "I've spoken generally because there are no opened negotiations." Roma's next game in Serie A is against AC Milan at the weekend, and a win will put them level on points with the Rossoneri.
