Serse Cosmi is back in charge of Livorno just two days after quitting as manager.
Cosmi stepped down after the 2-0 defeat to Napoli, admitting that his relationship with president Aldo Spinelli had broken down.
However, the two men have now resolved their differences and Cosmi will be at the helm for the upcoming clash with AC Milan.
"It wasn't hard to clarify things," Spinelli told Sky television.
"The marriage continues because it's in the club's interest and because of the good job he's done with us, the results we've had."
Cosmi took over the Tuscan side in October when they were bottom after Gennaro Ruotolo's sacking.
They are now 16th in the table and two points above the relegation zone.
