Inter midfielder set for loan switch to Ligue 1 giants

Marseille have confirmed they have agreed in principle with Inter Milan to bring in midfielder Mancini on loan. The Brazilian has been out of favour at the San Siro this term, with just two starts and five substitute appearances to his name, and is thought to be keen on the switch. The two clubs have been in constant negotiations in recent weeks but talks hit a snag last weekend, which threatened to derail the proposed move. But with an agreement now in place, Mancini is expected to agree terms which will see him spend six months in France as he bids to play his way back into the Brazil national squad ahead of the 2010 World Cup. Mancini joined Inter from Roma but has failed to recapture the form which prompted the Serie A champions to sign him for an undisclosed fee in 2008.
