Juventus have lost midfield starlet Sebastian Giovinco for at least a month.
The 22-year-old pulled up in training on Friday with a thigh injury.
Scans have now confirmed that he will be out for around "30 days".
The former Italy Under-21 international will miss the Serie A games against AC Milan, Chievo, Roma, Lazio and Livorno as well as the Coppa Italia tie against Napoli.
Giovinco joins Gianluigi Buffon, David Trezeguet, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Mauro Camoranesi in the treatment room, while Mohamed Sissoko is at the African Cup of Nations and Martn Caceres is suspended for Sunday's clash with AC Milan.
It is a big blow to coach Ciro Ferrara who is under pressure having won only twice in his past seven games.
