The agent of Napoli defender Matteo Contini has played down talk of a move to Bologna.
The agent of Napoli defender Matteo Contini has played down talk of a move to Bologna.
Napoli are understood to be interested in signing Miguel Britos from Bologna and speculation suggests Contini could be used as a makeweight.
However, Contini is a regular starter in Walter Mazzarri's side and the transfer talk has come as a surprise to his representative Pino Letterio.
Letterio insists Contini is happy at his current club and has no wish to join Bologna.
"This rumour leaves me perplexed, because I know nothing about it and have received no notification from Bologna," Letterio told Napolipress.
"Bologna is a society that is respected because of the history it holds.
"But at this moment, Matteo's will is to stay at Napoli and wear the Azzurri jersey in the great city.
"He is very attached to this town and would like to stay here for as long as he can."
