Denis to consider Napoli exit

German Denis will seek a move away from Napoli if he does not start playing more regularly.

Striker keen to play at World Cup

German Denis will seek a move away from Napoli if he does not start playing more regularly, according to his agent. The 27-year-old striker joined Napoli from Independiente in a big-money deal last year but he has struggled to make much of an impact. Denis is desperate to play for Argentina at the World Cup and recognises that he is not likely to be included if he is not performing at club level. His representative Leonardo Rodriguez told Radio Kiss Kiss: "I believe German has more chances for playing because his dream is to be at South Africa. "We will see what happens from now until December. If his situation doesn't change then we will ask the officials to transfer him." Denis has not been called up by Argentina coach Diego Maradona in recent times but has not given up hope of returning to the squad. Rodriguez said: "He has been out of the national team because he is not getting chances to play at Napoli. "Maradona has chosen Diego Milito, Lisandro Lopez and Carlos Tevez because they are playing more frequently in their teams."
