Midfielder won't be at San Siro next term

AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted he will not be brining Ignazio Abate to the club in the summer. Abate began his career in Milan's youth sides but he never played and left the club for Empoli after a number of loan spells. Then Milan took him back to the club in 2008, only to then send him to Torino in a co-ownership deal. The Italian Under-21 international has had a successful campaign in Turin and many suggested that Ancelotti could give him a chance in his squad next season. But the Milan boss has revealed the 22-year-old will not be playing at the San Siro next term. "Abate is a good player," Ancelotti told Puntosport. "But we do not need a player like him."
