Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi will be out of action until the New Year with a shoulder injury.
The Italy international sustained the knock during Juve's 4-0 win over Reggina on Saturday.
A heavy fall resulted in the problem, with the experienced winger visibly struggling through the pain.
He did open the scoring on 28 minutes, but urged his team-mates not to celebrate with him for fear of further inflaming the problem.
He was finally replaced moments into the second half after finding it increasingly difficult to move his arm.
A post-match examination has now revealed that Camoranesi suffered a dislocated shoulder and will require at least three weeks of complete rest in order to recover.
