Olivier Dacourt's agent has rejected rumours suggesting he could leave Inter Milan to join Bologna. The former Leeds United and Everton midfielder has struggled for first-team football at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza under boss Jose Mourinho this season. Reports have claimed Dacourt could sign for Serie A rivals Bologna in January, with the Frenchman's current contract due to expire at the end of the season. However, Dacourt's advisor, Giorgio De Giorgis, insists the 34-year-old is focused on breaking into the Inter side after recently overcoming injury. "I have spoken to Olivier and he told me he didn't know anything about Bologna, so this just goes to show that the news was without any foundation," De Giorgis told Novantesimo.it. "Dacourt is doing well at Inter and he knows he has the qualities. He has just recovered from a serious injury and he knows he can find a space in the team."
