Striker could leave in January

Julio Cruz could be set to leave Inter Milan in the January transfer window, according to the Argentine's agent. Cruz has been left out in recent weeks following the return to fitness of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and argued with boss Jose Mourinho for failing to follow instructions on the pitch. He came on as a substitute to score the winner against Udinese on Sunday but reports suggest that his days at the club could be numbered. Cruz's contract expires next summer but Inter may look to sell him in the New Year and agent Gustavo Ghezzi admits there is a chance he will move on. "Over the last few days we have called various clubs to let them know about the situation," Ghezzi told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Also because in these two weeks a few particular things have happened." The 34-year-old accepts that his next contract could be his last as a player and Ghezzi believes he is right to look out for himself. He said: "It's not a problem (looking for a new club). Julio is a serious person and the directors know he wants what is best for Inter. "But the next contract will have to take into consideration these things and that in two years he could be leaving football."
