Steaua Bucharest have stated that Mirel Radoi will be joining Inter Milan.
The 27-year-old who can play in midfield or defence, is to join Inter on an initial loan with a view to a permanent deal - according to the Romanian giants.
Inter need defensive reinforcements with Marco Materazzi, Cristian Chivu, Walter Samuel and Ivan Cordoba all injured.
"Radoi will go on loan to Inter for the sum of €2million," said Steaua president Gigi Becali.
Inter are yet to confirm the deal and are also believed to be considering other options.
Radoi himself admitted he would love the chance to go to Milan.
"I would be happy to move to Milan as soon as possible," Radoi said.
"It would be a unique opportunity for me and I can't afford to miss it.
"I would also be happy to go there for a year on loan so that I could play for a great side in Inter and line up alongside my good friend Chivu, who I talk to almost every day."
