Olof Mellberg is delighted with the way he has settled in at Juventus following his move from Aston Villa.
The Swedish defender signed a pre-contract with the Italian giants back in January and officially joined on a free transfer earlier this month.
He has been impressed by boss Claudio Ranieri and is looking forward to the new season.
Mellberg accepts that competition for places will be fierce but he believes that bodes well for a successful campaign.
"It has felt okay to get into the team, it's a nice mix." Mellberg told Expressen.
"Ranieri has been talking a lot about how we shall play, he is trying to get me and Albin (Ekdal) to understand the tactics.
"I feel that he has explained well.
"We have got two full teams now, that is two players in every position."
