Jorge Pinto da Costa has stressed that there have not been any bids for Ricardo Quaresma as yet.

Inter yet to firm up their interest in winger

Porto president Jorge Pinto da Costa has stressed that there have not been any bids for Ricardo Quaresma as yet. The Portugal international is expected to move on for a fresh challenge this summer and has been linked with a number of Europe's top clubs. Internazionale have emerged as the favourites to sign Quaresma following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager. However, Porto have not received an offer from Inter or anyone else and Da Costa believes Quaresma would be happy to stay. "At the moment we have had no official offers for Quaresma," Da Costa told Correio De Manha. "Has Ricardo asked to leave? No, I've had no complaints from him."

Cruz going nowhere

Speculation has suggested that Julio Cruz could be used as bait in a part-exchange deal, but the Argentine's agent has dismissed such talk. "Cruz is not leaving Inter," Jorge Czysterpiller told Corriere dello Sport. "He will stay with the Nerazzurri - that is 100 per cent certain and I hope it is clear. "He intends to extend his contract, which is currently due to expire in 2009."
