Mauricio Pinilla claims that he has received approaches from Portugal and Italy.
The Chilean striker was released by SPL side Hearts at the end of last season and is currently on the lookout for a new club.
His time in Scotland was plagued by injuries and the 24-year-old has revealed his disappointment at missing the opportunity to show the Jambos faithful what he is capable of.
"I have three or four options to go and play in countries like Portugal and Italy but I am waiting for confirmation," Pinilla told La Tercera.
"I have to meet with my agent in Italy, where we will talk about my future.
"I have had many injuries, but I was getting prepared for next season and I am sorry that I can't play anymore in Scotland.
"I had hoped to show the supporters of Hearts my quality, but I will not be able to do that now.
"I have been very happy in Edinburgh. I had the support of the fans throughout my time there.
"They have always said to me that they wanted to see me recover and play for the team, they thought I was a good player.
"I always felt like they liked me and that is really important for me as I only played eight games during two spells at the club."
