Juventus have confirmed the signing of Brazilian striker Amauri from Palermo while Antonio Nocerino has moved in the opposite direction.
The deal ends weeks of speculation surrounding the 15-goal striker, who is believed to have cost around £17.9million, although some of that will be offset by the Sicilians paying £5.8million for Nocerino.
27-year-old Amauri, who is acquiring an Italian passport, had been reportedly interesting Serie A rivals along with several English clubs.
"Amauri belongs to Juventus," read a statement on the club's official website. "The Brazilian forward signed a four-year contract."
Amauri will battle it out with the likes of Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet for a starting place next term, although Vincenzo Iaquinta is expected to move on.
