Alessandro Del Piero and Antonio Cassano have been included in Italy's provisional 24-man squad for Euro 2008, but Filippo Inzaghi has been left out.
Juventus star Del Piero has not played for Italy for eight months, but his fine form this season has seen him win a recall from Roberto Donadoni after finishing the season as top scorer in Serie A
Sampdoria forward Cassano has also won his place back in Donadoni's plans after impressing this term.
Veteran striker Inzaghi has been omitted as Donadoni goes with Marco Borriello, Fabio Quagliarella, Antonio Di Natale and Luca Toni in attack along with Cassano and Del Piero.
Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has been named in the squad, while Morgan De Sanctis has been given the nod as third-choice goalkeeper ahead of Francesco Toldo, Christian Abbiati and Matteo Sereni.
Donadoni will have to trim his squad by one player before submitting his final squad on 28th May.
