But is confident Milan can progress on Tuesday

Milan defender Kakha Kaladze has spoken of the respect he holds for Arsenal, ahead of the UEFA Champions League meeting between the two sides on Tuesday. An evenly fought affair two weeks ago at Emirates Stadium that ended in a 0-0 stalemate sees the tie delicately poised, with holders Milan installed as marginal favourites to progress. Kaladze and his fellow defenders enjoyed an excellent night in the capital in claiming a clean sheet, but the Georgian is taking nothing for granted ahead of the visit of Emmanuel Adebayor and co in midweek. Adebayor missed a glorious chance in the final minute of the first leg clash but while the Togolese international showed profligacy on that occasion, he retains the respect of Kaladze. "It was an incredible miss," Kaladze recounted to The Independent.

Complete forward

"He has everything, he's the complete forward and it's not easy to mark him. "He's strong, fast and very good technically. Tall players like him are not always so mobile or so skilful." Kaladze admits he was impressed by the manner in which Arsenal attacked as a unit; well aware Milan will again have to be their best defensively on Tuesday if they are to progress to the quarter-finals. "Arsenal are very well organised tactically and attack with a lot of players, with very fast players in midfield and up front. "They had a couple of chances but we didn't concede. We needed luck too but luck plays a big part in football."
