Italy coach Roberto Donadoni has not ruled out handing international recalls to strikers Alessandro Del Piero and Antonio Cassano.
Del Piero was axed for the back end of Italy's Euro 2008 qualifying campaign, which ended on a high note after success in Scotland secured their place in next summer's tournament.
Cassano has failed to hold down a regular place in Italy's squad this year and has failed to feature since his uninspiring display in a 3-1 defeat to France in September 2006.
Although Donadoni is not ruling out selecting the pair in Austria and Switzerland in the summer, he has stated they must be in the right frame of mind for competing.
"It depends on Cassano and Del Piero, on their heads first of all and then on their legs," Donadoni told Rai radio.
"My bad luck, if you like, is that I have so many good players at my disposal."
