Roma have been handed positive news after tests revealed that Francesco Totti's ankle injury is not as serious as first feared.
The 31-year-old sustained the problem whilst taking a free-kick in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League victory over Sporting Lisbon.
There were concerns that the forward could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, however scans have shown that the damage is not severe as first thought.
Totti now faces a race to be fit for Sunday's clash against Milan at the San Siro.
