Juventus concede club stalwart Alessandro Del Piero could leave at the end of the season.
The Italy international's contract expires next summer and he has been locked in negotiations regarding an extension.
But talks have reached an impasse and Juve sporting director Alessio Secco acknowledged the prospect of the 32-year-old moving on.
"There is a risk of losing him, but we are doing all we can and there is an intention to find an agreement," Secco told SKY television.
"The details must stay within the club.
"It is a situation that is helping nobody."
Del Piero joined Juventus from Padova in 1993 and has established himself as the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
