Walter Samuel has confirmed he will be fit for Internazionale's UEFA Champions League opener against Fenerbahce.
The Argentine defender has been struggling with injury, but has been cleared to play against the Turkish outfit on Wednesday.
It is likely Samuel will go straight into Inter coach Roberto Mancini's starting line-up as he has already been robbed of the services of Marco Materazzi and Christian Chivu through injury.
"I'm looking forward to coming back," Samuel told Inter TV.
"I trained with the squad on Monday and everything went positively. I'll do the same on Tuesday in Turkey.
"Doctors told me everything is okay and so I am at the coach's disposal. The Champions League is a strong competition and so we want to go to Istanbul and start our group well."
