Stuttgart have threatened to report Juventus to Fifa after an alleged illegal approach for Mario Gomez and Fernando Meira.

Juventus are reported to be keen on signing Gomez and Meira and are thought to have made offers for the pair.

Stuttgart are furious that Juve have reportedly contacted both players without their permission.

Juventus have denied any wrongdoing, but Stuttgart team manager Horst Heldt has hit out at the Italians for the illegal approaches.

"This is a scandalous procedure," Heldt told the club's official website.

"Our players were approached. It was insolent and we will refer the matter to Fifa.

"We are not their satellite club. We cannot allow foreign sides to behave in this way and tempt our players with such actions.

"We will turn to Fifa, as this is a deplorable attitude from Juventus."
