Damiano Tommasi has hit out at claims he has agreed to join Levante, insisting he is still evaluating his future.
The former Italy international is a free agent having left Roma earlier in the week.
Levante president Pedro Villaroel had claimed that he was all but certain to sign for the newly-promoted Primera outfit, but Tommasi has now contradicted that.
While he admits that Levante are one of the clubs he is considering, the 32-year-old has yet to decide whether to continue his career outside of Italy.
"There is still nothing concrete," he explained on his official website.
"Both my representative and I have received offers, but right now there is nothing more.
"We (the family) are weighing up whether it is viable and whether the experience of a year away from Italy could be interesting for our children."
